Pick & Place Feed System with Vacuum Belt

Video shows our in-house designed and manufactured 'pick and place' intelligent feed system operating with a vacuum conveyor system (also manufactured in-house) and ALritma labelling head being used to label empty foil bags.

The system is used to feed more than 10 different varieties of bags, of different materials, (including metalised and poly bags) sizes and weights, as well as flat pack pharmaceutical cartons all with the same feeder.

The intelligent lift design of the feeder and self centring hopper guide system mean that the feeder requires literally almost no setup between products, even when switching from bags to cartons.

The feeder has two hopper chambers meaning the next product can be prepared whilst the other hopper is in operation.
