ALbelt labelling systems combine one or more labelling heads from our comprehensive range of machine with an integrated belt conveyor system, built to your requirements in our South Wales workshops.
Whether you are looking for an entry level workhorse machine, perhaps for wraparound labelling based around our ALstep labelling head, or a high speed, underside labelling solution integrating a performance ALritma labelling head, we can design and manufacture an ALbelt system to meet your requirements.
Customers can choose from two basic build types of ALbelt machine depending on their requirements - either our standard ALbelt frame structure system, or more rigid base structure ALbelt XTRA system. Both build types are available in either powder coated or stainless finish, whilst ALbelt XTRA machines feature a rotating tower control panel as standard.

We believe that our ALbelt C wraparound labelling system for cylindrical products, including jars, bottles and tubes, represents one of the best value and most flexible conveyor based wraparound labelling system on the market today.
The unit is ideal for both growing businesses as well as those looking for a progressive move into automated labelling. A versatile modular machine, it is capable of operating in both a stand alone or low to medium speed in-line format, meaning it can grow with the needs of your business.
ALbelt C machines incorporate a lighter version of the same direct wraparound system used on our high performance ALline C production machines. Its side mounted drive unit works in combination with a sponge gripped counter plate, causing cylindrical product to turn on the transfer belt at the same time as a standard ALstep labelling head dispenses the label on to the product to give either a partial or full wraparound label result.

The system provides exceptional labelling accuracy and throughput speed (more than 50 unit per min with most products), as well as being extremely versatile, capable of labelling any diameter cylindrical product within the width range of the labelling belt - typically set between 10mm and 160mm for a standard machine with larger diameter possibilities on demand.
The machines can even handle cylindrical products with a small degree of taper or with the wraparound belt withdrawn, be used for standard single side labelling flat faced products such as square jars, cartons or trays.
When fitted with a sponged wraparound belt and counter plate it also potentially possible to label hexagonal jars and even some square shaped bottles and jars, either directly wrapping the product as per a cylindrical jar, or applying the label “flagged” on the product and then “after wrapping” it.
As per all ALbelt labelling machines, ALbelt C can be fitted with a variety of coding solutions including a full in-line thermal transfer printer (ALstep T) to produce a highly cost competitive print and apply wraparound labelling solution - e.g. for overprinting product & ingredient information or batch code and best before data as labels are applied.
ALbelt E labelling systems are belt conveyor based side labelling systems for labelling one or multiple side panels (e.g. front and back) of flat sided simple to orientate square and rectangular shaped containers such as cartons, tubs, jars and boxes to name but a few.
A machine capable of growing with your business, our standard frame structure ALbelt machine is designed in a modular manor, allowing extremely simple future upgrade if required, for example in the case of front-back labelling, allowing you to start with a single labelling head solution and complete two product passes, with the potential to add a second labelling in the future for front-back in a single pass
For labelling light, unstable or elliptically shaped containers, such as toiletry or chemical containers, ALbelt E can be configured with some of the basic orientation and stabilisation systems of our production line ALline machines, particularly suited to our ALbelt XTRA machines with platform base to mount these elements.

The addition of a top stabilisation belt can also provide the possibility of “C-wrap” type three panel labelling solutions, commonly used on square shaped glass or PET bottles (such as olive oil bottles for example), applying a single label across the front panel of the container and wiping it down the two parallel running sides as the product continues on the transport belt using a single labelling head.
ALbelt E can also be configured with the same direct wraparound labelling belt as found on ALbelt C to provide a highly versatile front, back and wraparound labelling solution - known as ALbelt EC, as well as our full range of print and apply heads for complete flexibility.
“Choice” is a key word to best describe the variety of ALbelt top and bottom labelling solutions we have available. Whether you’re looking for a simple but accurate low cost labelling solution, formed around our ALstep labelling head, or a high speed, high performance ALritma based solution, perhaps with encoded speed control, automatically matching the labelling head with the belt, we have a labelling machine to meet your needs.
Because we manufacture our conveyors, literally from the drive roller upwards, with an ALbelt machine you have almost total flexibility of design, so if you need a conveyor of exactly 334mm width or, as is more likely, a conveyor with a belt spacing optimally set to accurately guide your products without placing the guide on the belt, with an ALTech ALbelt machine, that’s exactly what you’ll get.
Standard enhancement options include synchronised side belts to support or guide the product whilst its labelled, upgraded heavy duty mounted systems with counters for labelling head positional recall and special adaptation systems for the application of tamper seals for example.
Where an underside/bottom labelling solution is required, either on its own or in combination with a top head we have two proven module solution types to choose from. Either a special split conveyor system formed of two sections, with the applicators peeler blade feeding between the split or high grip side belt system (normally mounted on self centring mount system) to expose the underside of the product for labelling.
Combining a side drive system and split belt conveyor also allows us to create highly cost effective “C-wrap” ALbelt labelling solutions, usually for trays and punnets manufactured in full stainless, pre-dispensing the label down in front of the product, between the split in the belt, applying the label around three panels as it drives forward on the belt, whilst also retaining the ability to act as a top labeller if required.
For uneven or variable height products such as pouches or punnets we also offer pneumatic or spring loaded peeler bar systems which adapt to the shape of the product – e.g. for top and bottom punnet labelling.
A specialisation of the ALTech UK engineering team is the design and development of complete feed and handling solutions based around our ALbelt conveyor systems.
We have developed solutions for a multiple of product types including sheets and cards, GSM sims, magazines, DVD inserts and DVD's and books themselves, but the core functions of the solutions are always the same - to Feed, Label and then Restack product as quickly and efficiently as possible.
In developing these solutions, we use a combination of proven off the shelf feeder solutions, such as friction feeders and vacuum shuttle feeders, or where necessary develop our own in-house designed and built special feeders. So successful have some of our feeder designs been, that these have often become products in their own right – our CD,DVD and Book feed systems are now an industry standard and our flat outer carton feeder (for flat pack corrugate boxes) has won much praise from the customers we have installed it with.
Another common ALbelt enhancement is a vacuum product transport belt system. The solution as the name suggests, uses vacuum to hold light product or product travelling at high speed (such as sheets and cards) securely on the conveyor for accurate labelling. Vacuum belt solutions are designed around the products we need to label, with vacuum chambers and the self generating vacuum system all specified accordingly.
