With the ever-increasing popularity of ‘vaping’ or ‘vapes’, ALTech have experienced a rise in demand for labelling solutions to label Electronic cigarette refill bottles (also known as E-cigarettes, E-liquid, E-juice and vape bottles), supplying everything from low-volume desktop machines to fully automatic solutions to complete the application.
ALTech’s recent installations include a longstanding customer, contract packer Complete Co-Packaging (also based in South Wales), who offer a ‘complete’ food and non-food co-packing service for their customers.
A key requirement for any contract packing customer is flexibility. For this reason, although Complete Co-Packing was specifically looking for a solution to label 10ml and 20ml E-cigarette bottles, they also required the machine to label a wide variety of other cylindrical containers, including herbs, bottled vinegar, and smoothies.
Complete Co-Packing required an economical solution capable of being manually inducted or placed in line with their various filler and depositor equipment. These requirements were met with a standard ALbelt C labelling system, fitted with an ALstep M labelling head and TIJ batch code printer unit providing a system capable of labelling a small 5ml e-cigarette vial up to a large cylindrical bottle, in either a partial or full wraparound format.
