Built for a leading Italian food company, the system is designed to apply a wraparound label with overlapping ends to give the salt shakers a uniform coloured, aesthetic appearance. The machine is integrated into the customer\u2019s high performance packaging line, running at a speed of 120 ppm.<\/p>\n<p>The system is based on the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.altech-uk.com\/linear-label-applicators\/alline-c-label-machine.htm\">ALline C wraparound labeller<\/a><\/strong> with a smooth belt conveyor to increase the stability of the product and improve labelling accuracy. The labeller includes a timing screw for precise product spacing, an <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.altech-uk.com\/labellers-label-applicators\/alritma-x-label-applicator.htm\">ALritma X-M performance label head<\/a><\/strong> for optimum precision and high volume application, a 400mm unwind unit with a near end of label roll alarm and a tall wrap unit to insure a smooth consistent application of the label.
