To start the new year, we are proud to present this multi-functional box feeding solution able to handle all sizes & types of flat boxes, including both crash lock and corrugated outer case boxes.<\/p>\n
Feeding crash lock boxes is difficult in its own right due to the uneven distribution of mass. Combining this with the possibility of feeding much bigger corrugated boxes was a real challenge relished by our UK engineering team, who designed and built this solution in our South Wales workshops around the samples provided by our customer.<\/p>\n
The solution includes a bulk hopper infeed shingle belt for crash lock boxes which automatically replenishes, and individual ‘movable’ transport belts, which allow boxes of dramatically different dimensions to be handled – in this case both the inner and outer boxes for our customer, providing huge productivity gains and making the machine very easy to justify commercially.<\/p>\n
