<\/strong>\ud83c\udf3e<\/p>\n<p>Another neat example of a simple, practical labelling solution doing exactly what is needed.<\/p>\n<p>This compact shrink-pack labelling machine is now in place at a long-established Cotswold flour mill, familiar to many viewers from its appearance on<strong> Clarkson\u2019s Farm, <\/strong>and through its supply relationship with <a href=\"https:\/\/diddlysquatfarmshop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@Diddly Squat Farm Shop.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The customer is moving with the times and implementing an<strong> end<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>of<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>line robot palletiser.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To make that work effectively, the shrink-wrapped packs also need to be labelled automatically before palletising.<\/p>\n<p>This follows on from a much larger ALTech project already supplied to the same site: a tailor-made<strong> two<\/strong>&#8211;<strong>face flour bag feed and labelling system, <\/strong>designed to give them the flexibility to manage an extensive product range of over 100 flours and specialist blends.<\/p>\n<p>For this application, the brief was different.<\/p>\n<p>The customer had already invested in a substantial industrial offline label printer, so the sensible approach was not to overcomplicate the machine.<\/p>\n<p>We supplied our<a href=\"https:\/\/www.altech-uk.com\/labellers-label-applicators\/alstep-label-applicator\"><strong> ALstep E<\/strong><\/a> labelling head, together with an<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.altech-uk.com\/index\/label-dispensers\/label-rewinders-counters\"> ALwind<\/a> <\/strong>label rewinder, allowing the mill team to print the required product labels for the day, rewind them neatly, and then run them through the automatic labeller.<\/p>\n<p>A<strong> compact, flexible and robust <\/strong>solution \u2014 well suited to a working mill environment, and deliberately kept simple where simple was the right answer. \u2699\ufe0f<\/p>\n<p>At<strong> ALTech UK, <\/strong>we are just as comfortable supplying bespoke, multi-face labelling systems as we are
