Economy Batch Print & Apply Labeller

Our low cost, yet high performance ALstep T is the little brother of our well known ALritma T touch screen controlled high speed batch print and apply label applicator series, incorporating the same independent dancing arm printer control, allowing both print and application simultaneously and thus, far higher label application rates than traditional “one to one” print and apply labelling solutions, combined with much simpler operation.

ALstep T is based on our proven workhorse ALstep “apply only” labelling head range, and perfectly combines the comprehensive work horse virtues of the ALstep with SATO’s impressively economical LT408 thermal transfer print engine - designed for low-to-medium speed applications with 200dpi print resolution and up to 6" per second print speed producing an unrivalled economy batch print and apply solution in terms of both functionality and price.

ALstep T features a powerful 6 digit LCD controller, allowing the setting of all the labelling parameters electronically without the need to move sensors etc as per lesser machines or “one-to-one” solutions, including the setting of delay for label positioning in “mm” considerable simplifying product changeover and setup. Importantly, unlike most print and apply units, the ALstep T still maintains the ability to “just apply” should you wish to apply pre-printed labels or in the unlikely event of a printer problem making it extremely flexible.

ALstep T is available with in the same comprehensive range of configuration options as per our ALstep labelling head such as a pneumatic peeler bar for uneven or variable height products such as pouches or jiffy bags or pendulous peeler for corner wrap labelling. It is also commonly combined with our ALbelt C wraparound labelling system to provide a highly flexible wrap around print and apply labelling solution at a price point that historically would not be feasible.

As per all our print and apply systems, ALstep T can be easily with existing production equipment or host control systems via a range of interface options including Ethernet or Wireless. We can also be provide an integrated control system, for label design and selection local to the applicator where a PC or host is either not available or not practical.
