The product range shown here is extensive — and it’s exactly the kind of mix that most desktop solutions struggle to manage. Or, they can be made to work, but only with long setup times, constant tweaking, and a high level of operator skill. Pots with lids, bottles of vastly different sizes, and even syringes… and with registration to print.
There are a few ways to approach a range like this. Our team considered not only each product individually, but the range as a whole, and configured the machine around a consistent principle:
We offset the web but still use an inside datum wherever possible, with only light tailoring.
Why? Because a stable datum strategy reduces re-positioning between products. It minimises changeover time, reduces the chance of error, and lowers the skill required to get repeatable results — especially when combined with the touch display for clear settings and changeovers.
And importantly, this isn’t a one-off setup for a single customer video. We set up and test every ALwrap in this way. It’s not a box-shift. Customers receive:
