Placing a round label on a round product is tricky because a ‘half-moon’ placement effect magnifies any inaccuracy. In this application, labelling PTFE tapes, we also need to apply labels into a recess, further increasing the difficulty of the requirement.
However, in this economical solution, we are still able to use our entry-level ‘ALstep’ labelling head, which through scale manufacturing economies, uses much of the same high-precision drive system as our more performing labelling heads, providing excellent value to the customer as exampled here.
