Installations in Focus – Two Similar Yet Different Labelling Head Integrations with Packaging Machines 🎥
This short video shows two recent ALritma labelling head integrations completed within the same month – both mounted to packaging machines applying labels to cladding panels and skirting boards as they’re placed into protective sale packaging.
At first glance, the two setups look almost identical – but they operate very differently:
🔹 One runs at variable speed with individually defined packs, using a breakbeam photocell for label triggering.
🔹 The other outfeeds butted products, requiring a more inventive approach – taking a volt-free contact from the packaging jaws instead.
In both cases, integration was straightforward thanks to the versatility of the ALritma head and its advanced control functions, including:
– Product tracking
– Shift register input management
– Precise label delay control (in millimetres)
Different applications, same outcome – simple, reliable integration and accurate labelling.
